I came across this amazing Wordpress plugin called Wassup that tracks your visitors in real time. I have been using WP-UserOnline and so far no complains, but I have to say that Wassup plugin is getting all the attention now. After an easy installation like any other Wordpress plugin you go to your dashboard and select Wassup tab. It has four sub-tabs under the main tab, SPY visitors, Current Visitors Online, Visitors Details, Options. It’s very useful for SEO.

Current Visitors Online: It shows current visitors in you blog at any given time.

Visitors Details: You can track your visitors and how they surf your blog. IP / hostname, name of comment’s author, name of user logged in, pages viewed, and keywords.

SPY visitors: It comes with a new “Spy” view in Ajax like the Digg Spy. Auto loads the content and shows the visitor activity on your blog in real time.

Options: Manage the database tables. Enable/Disable recording, record or not users logged in, automatically deletes records older then selected period (day, week, months, year). If you have limited database space, this will help to prevent reaching your limit.
